Only Select Videos Play

Post by altoids »

I'm having a problem where it's completely random as to which girls videos will play. The dream videos don't play at all.

I have the latest version of the game. All girlpacks are in the main directory.

I opened up one girlpack and tried to preview the videos from inside the editor and none of them work. I extract them out and they play just fine in VLC.

Yes. They are .avi. Seems the .wmv files play just fine.

Please replace "Scoreville.LocalVideoServer.dll" in the folder with this one:
Scoreville.LocalVideoServer.rar
And try it again to play the videos.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

I have the same problem.

Certain *.AVI scenes plays properly, the problem seems to be caused by the video player loading files directly from the given "media path" of each file.
I.e. if I remove the *.AVI files from the "media path" after creating the scene, it stops working. Scenes whose *.AVI files I haven't deleted or moved still plays in 2.2.0.

The same problem doesn't seem to exist in 2.1.2.

But we have the code to play not changed.
Videos that play in 2.1.2, should play in the 2.2.0

I took VLC player from Scoreville version 207 and now all the videos are playing again. Note: this was the version I was using previously when the videos played fine.

Using the VLC folder from 2.1.2 with 2.2.0 fixes the problem for me too.
