I also am unable to find an "edit" button for a submitted post. Am I just missing it somewhere?

I normally don't like to double post, but it seems appropriate for the topic. Is there some sort of timer? Because I went to edit the above message again, and it gave me a message saying that I was no longer allowed to edit it. Very strange.
