Video tearing in wmv clips

Post by Newb »

I am having issues with video tearing in certain clips. If I view them on my computer, not in the game, in Windows media player I see the tearing. If I view them in VLC, the tearing is gone. If I view the clips in the editor the tearing is there, so I assume that the game isn't using VLC player. I have the newest version of VLC 32 installed in my program files. I have the newest version of Scoreville installed (3.1.7). What do I need to do to make the videos play with VLC and not WMP? I have no VLC folder in Scoreville.

Could be the same problem Arkintoofle described: http://scoreville.die-links-welt.de/boa ... ?f=3&t=659

He traced it back to the newest VLC version 2.2.2, so if you also installed this version, please downgrade to 2.2.1.

I've still got tearing, but it's nowhere near as bad as it was with that specific VLC release.
